I would love to talk about how SeeClickFix can be best used to bring neighborhoods together. I have seen some great opportunities for neighbors to connect and work together to better their community including Snowcrew and beautification projects.

How and whom should I engage in my area to let them know about the SCF API and data. What can developers and other agencies gain from using the SCF API. How can local govs make it easier for outside orgs to connect services via the SCF API?

Snowcrew and other efforts across the SeeClickFix platform have brought amazing opportunities and new solutions to communities. But that is not without raising questions around City liability. A number of brave officials have encouraged volunteerism and have leveraged the activities of Snowcrew and SeeClickFix to encourage officials to ask for help…

SCF Partner development is centered on reach within each community. Lets get some insight on best practices for expanding adoption and usage.

Sharing examples of interesting use case discussion: What unexpected and unique result have you seen or can you drive in your area? (e.g., bike racks, emergency management FEMA)

I'd be interested in discussing how data can be open and collaborative from the start, especially through using resources such as GitHub (https://government.github.com/).

Service request types and secondary question best practices. How to best collect the data you need and the affect on effective citizen reporting.

How do you convince other departments within your town to use SCF? Why not explain that letting citizens see the work being done by your department already? If a citizen can see what DPW is doing to solve other citizen's requests in their neighborhood, you end up getting credit for work you've always done…

Talking to residents online can be tricky to navigate -- and we've all failed at saying the right thing in every situation. I'd like to hear these stories because that's the best way we can improve communication in the future!

I would be interested in seeing how other cities handle their workflow for incoming SCF issues. I know that there have to be several ways to handle this and track the status of issues.

I am also interesting in hearing about any user feedback/suggestions other towns may have gotten-solicited or unsolicited. From all users-citizens and staff.

The team in Princeton suggested that we attend the NJGMIS conference this year, which was great. Usually we exhibit at ICMA, APWA, NLC, the Cityworks User Conference + a few other conferences during the year…

We have a local maker space "MakeHaven" (http://makehaven.org) on the same block as our office.

For this session we can head over, get a tour and then do a 3D print of a wrench heart or laser etch a map of a city.

I'm interested in how other towns are using the data/reports of the issues. Who is getting the stats, how is it being used, etc.

Split into two groups (“gov” and “citizen”). Discuss topics like pothole fixes, tree trimming, etc. from both points of view.
